Germany is - like all nations - on the way to the Biblical "valley of decision" (Joel 4:14). There will ultimately decide whether our nation will be among the "sheep" or the "goats" (Matthew 25.31 ff). On the way there will be preliminary rounds. For example, in relation to our attitude to God's plan with Israel and Jerusalem on the one hand und den Plänen der EU und der UN auf der anderen Seite. Diese Frage wiederum hängt zusammen mit der Frage, wie ernst Deutschland – nicht z uletzt im Umgang mit dem radikalen Humanismus und dem radikalen Islam – seine eigenen jüdisch-christlichen Wurzeln nimmt.
Das Schicksal Deutschlands wiederum wird maßgeblich davon beeinflusst, inwieweit wir als Gemeinde Jesu in der Gnade Gottes (Röm. 5,20) in unsere Berufung hineinwachsen, inmitten unserer Gesellschaft „Salz und Licht“ (Matt. 5,13–14) and a "royal priesthood" (1 Pet. 2.9) are.
And for such a national spiritual breakthroughs to this new level of vision, unity, humility and the power of Jesus' community, it needs the collective fasting and prayer. To take part that I would like all readers, so do all believing Christians in Germany courage from the heart! The 40-day initiative in early 2010 to provide an excellent opportunity.
