Als wenn das alles wäre, um Frieden mit den Palästinensern zu schließen! Tatsache ist, dass 280.000 Israelis in 121 offiziell anerkannten Siedlungen im Westjordanland leben (Stand November 2009). Weitere 190.000 Israelis leben in Siedlungen in Ostjerusalem. Siedlungen reichen von Orten mit Landwirtschaft über Vororte bis hinzu Grenzdörfern und, im Falle von Ostjerusalem, Stadtteilen.
Die drei largest settlements, Modiin Illit, Maale Adumim and Betar Illit, own towns with 30,000 inhabitants. These settlements include residences, schools, government buildings, shopping centers and thriving business. The U.S. insists that Israel is not even the natural growth caused by builders of new schools, medical offices, apartments and shops met. The reason is that they are the outrageous demands of the Palestinians want to live up to hope and demand that the Israelis finally move out of these vibrant cities or regions, and leave them to their enemies - in exchange for a false peace.
What other country would agree to such pressures and such despicable claims? The Gaza Strip is an excellent example of what happens when Israel and its so-called allies to fall for the peace lies of Islamists: ongoing terrorist attacks, rocket attacks and the destruction of years of work by Jews in their homes and shops.
